Our men's and women's teams traveled to RNAS Culdrose for a fantastic, action-packed weekend of competition with an incredible group of people.
The men's squad put on a stellar performance in the round-robin stage, winning three matches and drawing one, before narrowly missing out on the title in a hard-fought 8-10 loss in the final.
Meanwhile, the women's team showed incredible growth and progress since their last fixture in Winchester in May 2025. They played exceptionally well, scoring numerous goals and continuing to prove their strength and development on the field.
Congratulations to our juniors who placed second at the 2026 Drenched Fest in Worthing alongside Guernsey this weekend.

The Jersey Water Polo End of Summer Tournament took place on 06 & 07 September 2025 at the historic Havre des Pas tidal pool in St Helier.
The outdoor competition brought together over 170 players across 14 men's and women's teams.
Participants faced off in a fast-paced round-robin format, completing 50 matches over the weekend before crowning the champions on Sunday afternoon.
The event also served as a major social gathering and a boost for local sports tourism.
On Saturday night, athletes and supporters celebrated with an evening party at The Lido café and bar.
Supported by Stonehage Fleming, the successful weekend highlighted Jersey's vibrant aquatic community and unique coastal venues.
The Jersey Water Polo Association (JWPA) was crowned the 2025 Coupe de la Manche Champions on 15 June 2025 after a dominant tournament run in Cherbourg, France.
The squad traveled across the channel to face regional French clubs, successfully claiming the prestigious trophy to highlight the club's growing competitive strength abroad.
Huge congratulations to the Jersey Water Polo Association (JWPA) senior ladies team, who traveled to the UK in May 2025 to play three thrilling matches in the inaugural women's Hampshire League.
Fueled by recent Jersey Sport funding aimed at boosting female participation, this historic trip marked the squad's first-ever UK competition.
The tournament was a massive milestone for the club's rapidly expanding women's program, showcasing incredible teamwork, development, and determination on the road.
The club is incredibly proud of the growth of the female roster and cannot wait to see what this squad tackles next.

The Jersey Water Polo 50th Anniversary Tournament took place on 20 & 21 July 2024 at the historic Havre des Pas tidal pool in St Helier.
The special milestone competition brought together over 250 players across 16 men's and women's teams from the UK, France, and the Channel Islands.
Participants faced off across two custom pitches in a fast-paced format, completing 61 matches and logging over 20 hours of competitive pool time before crowning the champions.
The landmark event served as a major celebration of the club's history and a massive boost for local sports tourism.
Sponsored by Pitcher & Le Quesne, the weekend drew huge crowds of spectators and earned high praise from former British Olympian Jake Vincent for its world-class atmosphere.
The senior men’s squad comprising eight players travelled to Cherbourg to participate in several matches against teams from Les Pieux, Cherbourg and Granville.
JWPA won their semi final match against Granville with relative ease but fell short in the final against the home side, Cherbourg losing 8-4. JWPA Co-President Henry Job said “It was a fantastic event. The team should be incredibly proud of their achievements.” He also went on to say that “one or two more subs would likely have made the difference. We will be back next year to reclaim the title!”.
JWPA took three junior teams (U12, U14 & U16) and a senior ladies team to Guernsey to play six matches against Guernsey Water Polo. A brilliant performance from all with lots of learning opportunities to take forward as we approach our 50th anniversary tournament later this year. Following the matches we headed to The Chop House for a late lunch followed by a spot of "harbour cricket" before heading home.

Our men's squad travelled to Ter Apel (The Netherlands) in August 2023 to take part in the 53rd ZEPTA water polo tournament. Following a weekend of great polo action and some "interesting" Dutch techno music, the team enjoyed two nights in Amsterdam to end the trip.
In July 2023, JWPA took 30 juniors to Guernsey to take part in their first competitive water polo match. Despite the bumpy sea crossing, the day was enjoyed by all with our juniors winning two out of four matches. Plans are in progress for more junior fixtures both on and off Island next year.

JWPA hosted Granville Water Polo in May 2023 at Les Quennevais Sports Centre. A strong performance from a number of players meant we took an early lead and were able to hold off the opposition to the end.
